Family portraits are a huge chunk of
I just think that they truly capture all the beauty of photography. I believe that a family photoshoot can do so much for a family, but I always come back to two main reasons why I recommend them. If you’ve thought about getting a professional family photoshoot done, read on. Here are two reasons you should capture family portraits.
1- You have photos to keep and share with your family forever
What I love about my job is the fact that I capture moments in time and preserve them for decades to come. As a husband and dad, I know how fleeting precious moments can be. I know its cheesy but it’s true – kids grow up so fast, and they’ll never be this young again. Family portraits are a beautiful way to capture the playfulness and youthfulness of your little ones before they outgrow it.
The same goes for your love story. As beautiful as it is to grow old together, capturing your love now and at various stages in life is a wonderful way to preserve your love story to look back on and cherish later in life.
my vision for Jean Hugues Dolce Photography.
When you take a photo, you preserve an instant for eternity. All the beauty, joy, and love in that moment is wrapped up neatly in that photograph, and every time you look at it again, you’re transported back along with all those feelings.
Even beyond your lifetime the images from your photoshoot will live on. Your children and grandchildren will hold onto those memories of you and your legacy will live on within your family. I can’t think of a sweeter sentiment than that.
My vision when I started Jean Hugues Dolce Photography was to capture all of life’s short-lived moments with my family photography. It is an honor and a privilege to provide Miami family portraits because I know that my clients will hang them in their homes or flip through them in years to come.
2- The photography session is a great way to bond
As much as I adore photography and its magical time-travelling abilities, the photoshoot itself is a delightful family activity. It incorporates so many fun aspects from choosing the location and making use of it (think picking apples in an apple orchard) to dressing up and coordinating right down to having fun posing.
All this fun reflects in the images. When I started shooting family portraits, I didn’t expect to see the tenderness between family unfold throughout each session. Moms and dads get goofy and the kids have a ball. The result? Out-of-this-world shots and a happy family at the end of the session.
Overall a family photo shoot is so much more than just that; it’s a memorable way to bond that brings your loved ones closer together, and it’s one small way we can hold onto the moment forever. It captures my view of photography perfectly.
